GSI built the first batch of offshore wind power mono-piles for delivery by barge

    

On November 15th and 18th, the monopile foundation structure No. 37 and No. 38 of the China Communications Sanhang Guishan Offshore Wind Farm was constructed by Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) of China Shipbuilding Corporation, were successfully delivered. Following the construction and delivery of the first batch of domestic wind suction force pile guide, it once again achieved new expansion in the wind power business field.
There are 13 sets of single piles delivered this time, each with a "height" (height) of about 73 meters, a "waist circumference" (diameter) of about 8 meters, and a weight (total weight) of about 1,020 tons, which is equivalent to the weight of 204 Asian elephants. It is a veritable "sea heavy equipment".
After delivery, it will be transported to the Lingdingyang bay of the Pearl River Estuary for piling to serve the second phase of the Guishan Island wind farm in Zhuhai. After the entire wind farm is connected to the grid, it is expected to generate about 320MW of electricity, which can power more than 30 million households. Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" Greater Bay Area clean energy development contributes.
