Guangzhou Shipyard International Company (GSI) of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has II delivered MR- No. 2 chemical/ product oil tanker, MARITIME TRANQUILITY” for IMC industrial group and CSSC leasing on October 12th. It has been delivered as the first tanker since GSI organized the fourth session of the “Going All Out” labor competition.

Huang Xinfa, Director of New Shipbuilding Department of IMC Industrial Group (IMC), Yang Jianing, Senior Manager of CSSC Leasing, Zheng Minsheng, Deputy General Manager of Asia Pacific Department of CSSC, and Zhou Xuhui, Deputy General Manager of GSI, signed the delivery documents on behalf of the Quartet.

The ship meets the emission requirements of the NOx Emission Control Zone. It is a modern Class II chemical tanker integrating energy saving, environmental protection, and high efficiency. After completion, it will serve the shipping and trade of countries along the “Belt and Road”.
